The company Oleícola Jaén S.A. was started in 1981 in Baeza, a town in Jaen, whose main activity is the milling of olives to produce Virgin Olive Oil, bottling Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and the extraction and drying of residuals from this factory and other mills and cooperatives in the area.
The production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained from the fruit deposited by the olive growers of the city of Baeza, and many other towns in the region of La Loma and surrounding areas. Almost 100% of the Olive Oil obtained is of the Picual variety, which is what distinguishes us in the province of Jaén, world leader in the production of virgin olive oil.
Currently, Oleicola Jaen processes an average over a 5 year period of 135 million Kgs. of alpeorujo annually, resulting in obtaining olive oil from raw pomace, olive pit oil, pomace and other by-products of olive production.
